Wheat

Wheat is an annual herbaceous plant that has been improved all over the world. Wheat; it is a basic nutrient used in the production of flour and feed. It is also grown as a feed ingredient for livestock.

Since wheat is an annual plant, it can be planted only once in the same year and the product can be obtained. In terms of sowing, there are fall and summer varieties of wheat: autumn leaves are sown in autumn and summer cottages are sown in early spring. Wheat harvest in Turkey usually starts in July and it is mostly produced in Central and Southeastern Anatolia Regions.

Although the wheat breed is divided into 8-10 species, there are many varieties of these species. The number of varieties in Turkey is more than 500.
